Sowing
Sow directly in a small pot — no potting-on needed. Start feeding once the plant is established.
Care
Despite growing in a cold climate, I never grow cucumber in the greenhouse. There are plenty of varieties that do well outdoors even where summers are cool — and even in our really cold summers, cucumbers have managed fine outside here.
Harvest & storage
Pick continuously while the fruits are 15–20 cm long.
